Eligibility Criteria

Admission eligibility for the proposed programs will be subject to the applicable requirements of PNMC, PUMHS and other relevant statutory or regulatory authorities.

PNMC / PUMHS

B.S. Nursing (Generic)

Four-Year Degree Program

Academic Qualification

F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks , having studied Biology.

Age Requirement

Age eligibility shall be according to the prevailing PNMC admission criteria and the applicable university admission policy.

Entry Test / Merit

Candidates shall be required to fulfill the applicable PUMHS admission, entry test and merit requirements.

Regulatory Requirement

Selected candidates must fulfill all applicable PNMC registration, pre-registration and university admission requirements.

Eligibility is subject to the prevailing PNMC and PUMHS admission policies applicable at the time of admission.
Allied Health Sciences

Allied Health Program Eligibility

B.S. Medical Laboratory Technology

Four-Year Degree Program
  • HSC-II / Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 50% marks as prescribed by the applicable PUMHS admission policy.
  • Candidates must appear in the prescribed entry test.
  • Admission shall be made on merit according to the applicable PUMHS rules and prospectus.
  • Foreign / O-Level / A-Level qualifications require equivalence from IBCC, where applicable.

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Five-Year Professional Degree Program
  • HSC-II / Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 60% marks in HSSC Pre-Medical / equivalent qualification as specified in the applicable PUMHS prospectus.
  • A-Level / foreign qualifications must have the required IBCC equivalence.
  • Candidates must fulfill the prescribed PUMHS entry test and merit requirements.
  • Admission shall remain subject to the prevailing university rules and regulatory requirements.
General Requirements

Important Admission Requirements

All academic qualifications must be obtained from recognized boards, institutions or universities.
Equivalence certificates from IBCC shall be required where applicable.
Candidates must fulfill the prescribed admission test, interview and merit requirements where applicable.
Original academic documents and other required documents must be produced at the time of admission.
Selected candidates may be required to undergo medical examination / fitness assessment according to the applicable university requirements.
Admission is subject to fulfillment of all applicable PNMC, PUMHS and regulatory requirements.
